What Is the Fish Collection? – Whalo

The Fish Collection shows all the fish that are always available to catch in Fish of Fortune!

These are your core fish, which you can catch at any time when casting your bobber. Each fish offers unique rewards and can be upgraded to improve its benefits.

How It Works

Each time you cast your bobber, you have a chance to catch one (or multiple, depending on your bobber) of the fish from your permanent collection.

Every fish has its own purpose - some bring you Coins, while others activate special actions like Blast or Steal.

The progress bar under each fish shows how close you are to upgrading it to the next level.

Meet the Fish

Here are the main fish in your collection:

Flippy Fins – Grants you Coins when caught.
Sunny Skipper – Rewards even more Coins at higher levels.
Puffin Puffer – Gives the biggest Coin rewards among the common fish.
Blast Crab – Activates Blast, letting you attack other players’ Islands.
Sea Anglerfish – Activates Steal, allowing you to steal other players’ fortune.
Great Goliath – Offers massive Coin rewards when caught.

Each fish has a rarity level (Common, Rare, or Epic). Rarer fish are harder to find but grant greater rewards!

Wheel Multipliers

Your Wheel Multiplier also affects fish rewards - the higher your multiplier, the more Coins you’ll earn from the fish you catch.

Example: Catching Flippy Fins with a higher multiplier means bigger Coin prizes!

Viewing Fish Details

When you tap on a fish in your collection, you can view:

The fish’s name and rarity
The type of reward it grants (Coins, Blast, or Steal)
The current reward amount and the next upgrade value

This helps you track your progress and see which fish you’ll want to upgrade next.

Special & Event Fish

In addition to your main collection, you’ll sometimes find special fish that appear during events or campaigns - like Booster Fish, Bone Fish, or NetFish.

These fish are temporary and offer special bonuses while the event is active, but they won’t appear in your permanent Fish Collection once it ends.

Upgrading Fish

Each time you complete an Island, you’ll receive a reward chest containing Fish Cards.

Once you collect the required number of cards for a specific fish at your current level, that fish will level up.

Upgrading a fish increases its rewards - giving you bigger Coin prizes or enhanced Blast and Steal effects with every level!
